We’re experienced in identifying, planning, and resolving these challenges with a practical, risk-managed approach. Whether it’s structural rectification, façade repair, waterproofing failure, or fire safety non-compliance, we bring the technical know-how to navigate it confidently.
Effective communication and stakeholder management are central to our delivery model. We recognise that remedial projects can be stressful, and we believe providing clarity and transparency regarding costs, timeframes, and impacts on occupants is fundamental to successful project delivery. We meet regularly with Owner’s Committees and provide resident updates throughout the project This approach reduces uncertainty and assures owners that their interests are being considered throughout the process.
One of the key challenges of remediation is managing works in live, occupied buildings. We understand the importance of staging works to maintain building access, manage noise and disruption, and keep owners, residents, or building users informed and safe throughout.
Remediation projects often require coordination across engineers, certifiers, façade consultants, fire engineers, building surveyors, and legal teams. We act as the central point of coordination, ensuring that all consultant inputs are aligned and that technical recommendations are translated into cost-effective, buildable solutions.
We’re experienced in engaging specialist remedial contractors and managing tender processes that prioritise quality, safety, and compliance. Our contractor engagement strategies are tailored to suit the unique needs of remediation work, including staged delivery, temporary access systems, and defect liability management.
Remediation budgets can be unpredictable without a strong strategy. We work closely with clients to establish realistic cost plans, risk contingencies, long term budgeting and cashflow requirements and funding strategies (including special levies or insurance contributions where applicable). Our focus is always on transparent cost management and delivering value for money.
We manage a broad range of remedial work types, including:
We also guide clients through Design & Building Practitioners (DBP) Act compliance for remediation works, ensuring appropriately registered practitioners are engaged and all design and declaration requirements are met. Our expertise helps de-risk the process and deliver compliant, future-proof outcomes.
We bring a calm, methodical, and solutions-focused approach to remediation. These projects can be sensitive, with legal, financial, and reputational implications for owners, committees and key stakeholders. We pride ourselves on acting as a trusted partner – keeping clients informed, protecting their interests, and ensuring the right technical and delivery decisions are made at every stage.
