Aaron Lawrence

Director

Our team of skilled client side project managers is led by Director, Aaron Lawrence. As a seasoned client side project manager with over 20 years of experience in the industry, Aaron has honed his ability to provide timely, accurate advice and guidance to ensure his client’s goals are achieved.

Aaron employs an energetic, passionate, adaptable and fresh-thinking approach to ensure that the projects that he manages are successful.

During his career, Aaron has gained extensive experience working with private and public clients ranging from small investors to major multinational organisations. He has worked in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and for clients based around the world.

Sam Zlatevski

Senior Project Manager

As a seasoned Senior Project Manager, Sam brings extensive expertise gained from collaborating with top-tier Property Advisory firms and ASX Listed Property Groups. His career has included pivotal roles in Development Management and Project Management, where he has consistently driven successful outcomes across diverse projects.

Sam's expertise spans the entire project life cycle, from initial stages of due diligence and acquisition, through pivotal milestones such as re-zoning or DA Approval, and onward to project delivery and handover phases.

His portfolio showcases a breadth of projects in commercial, residential, mixed-use, retirement, and urban development sectors, with a specialisation in master planned communities and urban renewal developments. He has notably excelled in steering projects within key growth corridors across Sydney Metro and Regional NSW.

Haydn Shaw

Senior Project Manager

Haydn has over a decade of project management experience across diverse sectors in both Australia and the UK. Known for his forward-thinking approach, Haydn is a leader who stands out for his exceptional leadership skills and strong interpersonal communication. His expertise covers the full project lifecycle, including project initiation, procurement, design coordination, contract administration, delivery & execution, and post-completion evaluation.

Haydn’s project portfolio is diverse, encompassing the construction of new high schools, commercial office towers, residential refurbishments & new-builds, heritage works, hotels, logistics parks, student accommodation, university research centres and more. His responsibilities include using project management systems, managing the design process, contract administration and superintendence, tender assessment, cost and value optimization, construction supervision, risk management, contract documentation, procurement strategies, quality control, and more.

Shelley Wolthers

Assistant Project Manager

As an Assistant Project Manager at Vertex Project Management, Shelley helps to manage all project requirements in the preparation and implementation of documentation throughout the project life cycle including pre-construction, construction and post construction.

Shelley’s approach to project management is to ensure we are focused on using our processes and procedures in a personalised way for each client. Project management requires the effective development of client and stakeholder relationships and a large part of Shelley’s role is to foster and maintain those relationships.

Shelley also provides variation review, approval, and administration services to the team and clients. She maintains cost reports, creates payment certificates, approves invoices and manages required documentation for council approvals – such as Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates and Occupation Certificates.

Most recently, Shelley has been instrumental in managing the major refurbishment of the Ibis Styles Hotel in Cairns.

Natalie Lawrence

Business Development & Marketing Director

Natalie Lawrence is our Business Development & Marketing Director at Vertex Project Management. You will find her working closely with the project managers to help grow the company, maintaining important client relationships and attracting new business from both existing and new clients.

She provides oversight of all business development and marketing activities from strategy to implementation. Additionally, her role includes a business management component of tracking financial performance, assisting with recruitment, liaising with external consultants, and working on improvements to our operations. Natalie also has a strong background in professional services and marketing in the legal, property and construction sectors.

During her career, Natalie has worked in professional services in both Australia and the UK. She has also been lucky enough to travel internationally for work through involvement in sponsorships and conferences in Europe and the USA.
